Franks Accountants Sponsor the Inspirational Individual of the Year Award
At Franks Accountants, we are committed to helping the community, and therefore we always like to sponsor an award at the event. This year we sponsored the Inspirational Individual of the Year Award. This award is given to an individual who has achieved something truly inspirational, and are committed to helping others. Nominees included Dr Kate Granger, Lizzie Jones and Luke Ambler among many more inspiring people who all have a different story to tell. The award went to Steven Robinson, a motivational speaker from Leeds.
About Steven
Steven is a motivational speaker who had a difficult start in life. He not only came from a deprived background, but also lost his right arm in a motocross accident at the age of 18. For many people this would have limited their life chances, and been enough to become disheartened with life. However, Steven, turned this into an opportunity to push himself, and motivate others to do so also. Steven set out to conquer his fears in the most amazing ways, he was once afraid of flying, but now he’s a qualified private pilot and even won an award in 2015. He continues to conquer his fears and motivate others to unlock their potential and achieve all they can. His motto in life is “If I can achieve all of these things with one arm, what are you capable of achieving with two?”. Congratulations, Steven, once again!
Franks Accountants Nomination
We’re proud to have been nominated for the ‘Charitable Business Award’ for the second year running. We’re committed to supporting our local community and charities as we believe it’s simply the right thing to do. We love helping our local community to thrive, and hearing the amazing stories of how our commitment to these charities has genuinely helped or made an improvement to someone’s life. Our previous charity partners have included, Our Angels, Hope Pastures, and Martin House. Unfortunately, we didn’t claim the trophy this year, however, The Danny Jones Defibrillator Fund was certainly a worthy winner for the award.
