Part of the ethos at Franks Accountants is the community engagement that is ever so important to all of us here. Adam Franks, the managing director of Franks Accountants, believes strongly in contributing to help the community thrive and helping local charities achieve their mission.

Each year we have a Charity Partner that we donate to. For every new client we secure, we donate £100 to our charity partner. The charities have varied over the years, and have been decided through media competitions to ensure we’re donating to charities that you feel would benefit.

Our first Charity that was chosen by you, was Hope Pastures. In 2015 we donated £3600 to Hope Pastures, a charity that uses donations to prevent suffering and to improve and save lives. Thanks to your support they are able to rescue, rehabilitate and re-home horses, ponies and donkeys in need.

In 2016 we aimed to beat our record and donated £4000 to Our Angels, a charity who support parents and families through the heartbreak of baby loss. Our Angels provide a support network, support group meetings, poems, and online information, so bereaved parents don’t have to face it alone. They also provide support to midwives so their better equipped to support bereaved parents.

We have been fortunate to have been nominated for the Yorkshire Choice Awards, Charity Business Award for the last 2 years in a row.
