We tutor school aged children in maths and English. Our aim is to provide the very best tuition and support, to help your children reach their full potential.
The Wetherby Kip McGrath Education Centre in Thorp Arch offers professional tuition in English and mathematics to school age children in the Wetherby, Boston Spa and Tadcaster areas.
Our ethos at Kip McGrath Wetherby is to make learning fun. Our Centre provides a stimulating and supportive environment that promotes self esteem and encourages every child to achieve their personal best. We pride ourselves in helping our students to recognise their own worth and to become increasingly responsible for their own learning.
We offer professional tuition after school and on Saturday mornings, specialising in mathematics, English, spelling and reading.
All sessions follow the Kip McGrath principles, which means that your child is always taught by a fully qualified teacher. Students follow individual education programmes tailored to meet their needs which are based around a variety of activities to hold their interest. Each session lasts 80 minutes and includes a combination of face to face teaching, written tasks and stimulating computer exercises and games.
Progress is consolidated with weekly homework, and regular feedback ensures that parents are kept up to date with their child’s achievements.
