Beautiful Children’s Clothing In The Heart Of Wetherby

Doodlebug opened its doors on 21st December 2015 and is a beautiful Childrenswear and Gift shop in the heart of the lovely market town of Wetherby founded by Julia, a local mum. Due to the success of the store, doodlebug is now also available online.

Doodlebug specialises in high quality, affordable, stylish clothing for babies and children up to age 6. We work with brands that meet our exacting standards, nothing less. Our aim is to bring them to you in our lovely shop where you can touch and feel or online where you can 100% trust what you are going to receive in a doodlebug delivery!

Our items have been hand selected to reflect current trends as well as contrasting styles. The ranges are all age appropriate and perfect for everyday or some special occasions.

We stock daywear, outerwear, nightwear as well as unique soft toys and handmade wooden toys as well as bespoke, handmade gifts from local suppliers. A lot of our brands are based here in the UK and all of our brands are ethically produced.

The concept for Doodlebug was born after taking redundancy from the ‘corporate world’ after 19 years. Frustrated by the lack of good quality children’s clothing on offer locally, I often found myself travelling to Leeds or Harrogate to find something lovely for my son, or for gifts for others and know most of my friends were saying the same. I often ordered online, however was often disappointed in the quality and wanted a shop where I knew what I was getting, in the shop or online.
