From the 1st April 2017, the National Minimum Wage and the National Living Wage will increase. Please note this is applicable for all businesses, for all members of staff. If you are currently paying your employees below this wage, their pay needs to increase on 1st April.
The new National Minimum Wage and National Living Wage are as follows:

25 years old and over | £7.50 per hour |
21-24 years old | £7.05 per hour |
18-20 years old | £5.60 per hour |
16-17 years old | £4.05 per hour |
Apprentices under 19 years old | £3.50 per hour |
19 years old and over who are in the first year of apprenticeship | £3.50 per hour |
